  • Snapshot Sync: Implemented a new and faster synchronization mode in collaboration with the research team. This involved using different networking structures, parallel execution, and validation.
  • Armadillo: Focused on securing Rootstock’s merge-mining process, involving calls to Bitcoin nodes to check block data and ensure RSK blocks are tagged to the Bitcoin chain.

Technologies used: Java, Gradle, TypeScript, Go (extensive use of Geth codebase), Hardhat, Foundry, RocksDB.
